2025 Student Grantee Meeting

On 2 and 3 May, Wübben Stiftung Wissenschaft welcomed the 2025 Student Grant cohort to their official meeting at the Wannseeforum in Berlin. In an inspiring setting, participants exchanged ideas and worked together on prospects for their future academic careers.

After the welcome address by Peter-André Alt, Managing Director of Wübben Stiftung Wissenschaft, and Program Manager Oda Henckel, the meeting included interactive workshops on two key questions: How do I present my research project convincingly? And: How do I shape my scientific path and tap my full potential?

In the first workshop, ‘How do I pitch my research?’, the students learnt how to tell their scientific topics as captivating stories - with a clear arc of suspense, emotional relevance and social relevance.

Under the title ‘Tapping my potential’, the scholarship holders worked on their personal development: they identified their own strengths, clarified their values and formulated goals - supported by methods such as the PAR technique, futurespection and value canvas.

What factors are decisive for a successful degree and how do you plan the next steps? Laura Kate Ismajli, alumna of the class of 2024, answered questions about her study experiences and further funding opportunities.

We are delighted to accompany these talented young people on their journey and are looking forward to their next career steps!
