Traineeship Programmmanagement
We are seeking a full-time, two-year fixed-term Trainee Program Manager (m/f/d) for our Professorship Funding Programs division, to start as soon as possible.
Founded in 2023, Wübben Stiftung Wissenschaft is a private grant-making foundation based in Berlin. Its mission is to help strengthen Germany’s position as a center of excellence for science and research that is internationally visible and competitive. The Foundation sees itself as a strategic partner to German universities and supports them in identifying, recruiting, and integrating international researchers.
As a trainee program manager, you will gain comprehensive insight into the design, implementation, and further development of our grant programs. You will work closely with experienced program managers and gradually take on more responsibility.
Your Responsibilities:
- Providing support and administrative assistance for strategic and operational grant-making activities
- Planning, conducting, and following up on informational events, consultations, roundtable discussions, and workshops
- Assisting with thematic research
- Preparing analyses, reports, and presentations
- Contributing to communications regarding grant programs and fellows (particularly on social media)
Your Profile:
- A strong university degree (Master’s) with an internship or study abroad experience
- Interest in research funding and science management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Very good MS365 skills, confident use of Excel and data management tools
- Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work
- Ability to work in a team
- Preferred: Initial practical experience in project management
- Preferred: Experience in quantitative data analysis
